Fully mechanised and by chainsaw – from the site visit to delivery at the road.
Timber felling, often called timber harvesting, is the planned felling, delimbing and cross-cutting of trees, together with staging the timber at the road. We do it in two ways, depending on what the stand and terrain call for, from thin small-diameter timber to strong old-growth.
On accessible ground the harvester fells, delimbs and cross-cuts the trees in a single pass. It is fast, gentle on the soil and delivers cleanly sorted assortments, ideal for thinnings and larger harvest volumes.
Where the machine cannot reach, in tight, steep or tricky spots, Rudi works with the chainsaw. That way even single trees and difficult places can be felled safely and cleanly.
Whether a small thinning or a large heavy-timber harvest: you get everything from a single source, from the site visit through the felling to forwarding and delivery at the forest road.

For forest owners, farmers, municipalities and businesses we handle the entire timber harvest, from thinning to final cut. We work fully mechanised with modern harvesters and, where the machine cannot reach, manually with the chainsaw. Always gentle on the soil and considerate of the remaining stand, so your forest keeps growing healthily after the felling.

We are here for everyone with timber to harvest, within around 50 km. In Lower Austria mainly in the districts of Melk, Amstetten, Scheibbs, Waidhofen an der Ybbs, Zwettl and Krems-Land, and in Upper Austria in the Mühlviertel around Perg and Freistadt.
From a small family wood to a larger stand: we plan the use together with you and harvest so that your forest keeps growing healthily.
Many farms own forest but rarely have the time and machines for it. We take on the harvest while you look after the farm and fields.
For municipalities and public woodland we fell in a planned, transparent way, with clean staging and settlement by solid cubic metre.
For sawmills and timber buyers, too, we harvest exactly the assortments required and stage them ready for haulage at the forest road.
Whether a business or a private owner: just call and we will tell you honestly whether your forest is within range. We are also quickly on the spot for damaged timber after storms, windthrow or snow breakage.
The quickest way is by phone. Rudi is available Monday to Saturday during the day and reliably gets back to you.
