Accessing the website and server log files

This website is a static site without user accounts. When it is accessed, data is automatically recorded in what are known as server log files, as is technically necessary on any web server:

• the IP address of your device
• the date and time of access
• the address (URL) requested and the amount of data transferred
• the previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted
• browser type and operating system

This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is automatically deleted after a short time. It is not merged with other data and not evaluated on a personal level. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in technically error-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact form

When you write to us via the contact form, we process the details you enter in order to answer your enquiry.

We record your name, your email address and your message, and – if you provide them – your company, phone number and an optional file attachment.

Your enquiry is delivered to our mailbox by encrypted email (via SMTP) and kept there like an ordinary email. There is no database on the website in which form data is stored.

The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship and our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep your details for as long as necessary to handle the matter and beyond that within the scope of statutory retention obligations.

Display of phone and email

The phone number and email address are only made visible on this website after the page has fully loaded in your browser. This protects against automated address harvesters (spam) and does not process any data about you.

Map display (service area)

To show our service area we embed an interactive map. The map material is loaded via our own self-hosted map server tileserver.blax.at – not via Google Maps or another large provider. For technical reasons, loading the map tiles transmits your IP address to that server. No cookies are set and no user profile is created in the process.

Statistics with Matomo – only with your consent

To understand how our website is used, we may deploy the statistics software Matomo. Matomo is only loaded if you have expressly consented beforehand. Without your consent, no analysis takes place at all.

Matomo is self-hosted, sets no cookies that follow you across websites and passes no data to third parties. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

Note: as long as no statistics are enabled or set up, Matomo remains fully deactivated.

• rectification of incorrect data
• erasure of your data
• restriction of processing
• objection to processing
• data portability

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS (SSL/TLS) connection so that the transmission of your data is protected.
